A Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey with Hannah Rosenbaum
Join us for a powerful 2-hour breathwork experience designed to awaken your inner intelligence, release stored emotion, and reconnect you to your body, your breath, and your deeper self. Explore the profound power of your own breath as a gateway to transformation. This immersive experience draws inspiration from transpersonal psychology, Eastern wisdom traditions, modern consciousness studies, shamanic practices, and ancient mysticism — all woven into a guided breathwork session that supports healing, clarity, and deeper self-connection.
This breathwork journey offers a unique opportunity to meet yourself in a whole new way.
Hannah Rosenbaum, MA, holds a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University and is a Resident Counselor in Virginia. She is also a practicing Holistic Somatic Coach, Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor, Conscious Connected Breathwork
facilitator (trained in South Africa).

What Is Conscious Connected Breathwork?
Conscious Connected Breathing is a dynamic breathwork practice that gently removes the natural pause between your inhales and exhales, creating a continuous circular rhythmic breath. This method opens the door to altered states of awareness, inviting insight, emotional release, and somatic restoration. As the breath deepens, so too does your connection to your body’s innate intelligence.
Set to carefully curated music and held in a safe, supportive space, this journey is both inward and expansive. Each participant’s experience is unique, often surfacing what is most ready to be seen, felt, and let go of — whether that be old emotional imprints, energetic blockages, or limiting thought patterns.
As you breathe, you may encounter:
A shift in physical energy or emotional state
A sense of spaciousness or altered perception
Deep clarity and personal insight
Waves of emotion or spiritual connection
Moments of bliss, surrender, or inner peace
This process encourages release, re-patterning, and reconnection — supporting your capacity for healing and transformation from within.
What You Might Experience During the Session:
Insight into unconscious habits or belief systems
Greater awareness of how you relate to uncertainty and control
Rewiring of unhealthy or restricted breathing patterns
Emotional processing and energetic clearing
Expansive feelings of love, safety, or connection
A deepened trust in your inner knowing
Integration
Following the session, you’ll be gently guided back into everyday awareness. We'll take time to ground, enjoy a warm cup of tea, and (if you wish) share insights or reflections with the group.
We provide blankets, eye pillows and bolsters but feel to bring:
Comfortable clothing
A blanket and small pillow
Eye covering (optional)
Water
A journal for post-session reflection
How to prepare:
Stay well-hydrated the day of the session
Eat a light meal at least 1 hour before
Refrain from alcohol for at least 24 hours prior
Support the preparation process with mindfulness; quiet time, gentle movement,
meditation, yoga, a nature walk, or a massage
Trust that the experience will unfold exactly as it needs to — this is your time to receive
~ Further information + integration tips will be sent upon booking confirmation ~

Jackie has been teaching yoga to all ages (0-100+!) since 2013. She is trained in power and alignment flow yoga and adapts her knowledge of movement and mindfulness to meet students where they are in their practice. In her personal practice, Jackie enjoys experimenting with new movements, sequences, and poses and encourages her students to do the same. While she loves to challenge herself and others to find new edges in their personal practice, she is keenly aware that the physical yoga practice is a means to greater self-awareness and self-actualization. Jackie's intention is for every student to find a deeper and more compassionate connection to themselves, physically and emotionally.
Steph began her yoga journey when she studied abroad in Jaipur, India in 2004. Inspired by the benefits of breathwork paired with intentional movement, she explored different yoga practices for over ten years and was inspired to complete a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2017, focused on the Iyengar (alignment) tradition. In addition to teaching studio classes and workshops, Steph brings movement, breathwork, and meditation into everyday life to normalize the practice for peers and co-workers. Laugher and levity is an important part of her practice!
Together, Steph and I have taught a variety of classes over the past 2.5 years since meeting each other through Yoga District in DC. Steph’s yin pairs well with my yang and we thoroughly enjoy crafting unique experiences that take practitioners deeper into their own practice. Classes and workshops include Partner Yoga, Kids’ Yoga, 108 Sun Salutations to celebrate the changing seasons, and more!
